We use Australian Jarrah Honey in our honey balm formulations.

💧 Is tallow suitable for all skin types?
Our tallow moisturisers are designed for everyday skin moisturising and conditioning and are suitable for many skin types.
However, everyone's skin is different. If you have particularly sensitive skin, we recommend performing a small patch test before using a new product.
If irritation, stinging or burning occurs, discontinue use.

☀️ How do I use Tallo Queen Moisturiser?
Start with clean, dry skin and clean hands.
Scoop out a small amount and warm it between your fingertips until it softens. Gently massage into the skin.
A little goes a long way.
You can use your moisturiser daily, morning or night, or whenever your skin needs additional moisture and softness.
Important: Our tallow moisturisers are oil-based, so we recommend not applying them directly over or mixing them with water-based moisturisers.
Also, avoid going out in direct sunlight with freshly applied tallow moisturiser.
Tallow moisturiser is not sunscreen and does not provide a tested SPF.

Our scented moisturisers are fragranced with selected essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance.
The aroma varies between formulations and is designed to be a natural, subtle part of the product experience.
Our unscented products contain no added fragrance or essential oils.

Our Unscented Honey Tallow Balm is suitable for children aged 12 months and older, as indicated on the product.

🧊 How should I store my tallow moisturiser?
Store your Tallo Queen moisturiser below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Keep the lid securely closed when not in use and use clean, dry hands when handling the product.
For best product quality, use within 6 months of opening and before the expiry date.
🌡️ Why does my tallow moisturiser change texture?
This is completely normal.
Tallow is naturally temperature-sensitive. It becomes firmer when cool and softer when warm.
You may notice changes in texture depending on the season, room temperature and how the product has been stored.
If your moisturiser feels firm, simply scoop out the amount you need and warm it between your fingers until it softens.
Temperature changes can affect texture without meaning the product has gone bad.
🤍 Why does my moisturiser have small white lumps or nuggets?
Small white nuggets or firmer pieces can occasionally occur as tallow cools and crystallises within the formulation.
This is a natural characteristic of tallow-based products.
Simply warm the product between your fingers before application. The warmth of your hands will soften the tallow and allow it to blend into the oil phase.
🍯 Why does my Honey Tallow Balm look slightly separated?
Because our honey balms contain both tallow and honey, you may occasionally notice some natural separation or variation in texture.
This does not necessarily mean there is anything wrong with your balm.
Do not heat the entire tin or melt and re-blend it.
Instead, scoop out the amount you need and warm it between your hands. The ingredients will soften and come together as you massage the balm between your fingers before applying.
🐝 Why can I sometimes see yellow pieces or small clumps?
Our formulations may contain beeswax, which is naturally yellow.
Occasionally, small pieces or clumps of beeswax can develop during the cooling process, even though the ingredients have been carefully melted and blended during production.
Simply warm the product between your fingers before applying. The warmth of your hands will soften the balm and help it spread smoothly.
💫 Does Tallo Queen contain preservatives or synthetic fragrance?
Our formulations are made without synthetic fragrance, parabens or sulfates.
Our ingredients vary between products, so please always check the individual product's ingredient list for the complete formulation.
Because our products are made with natural oils, fats, honey and waxes, correct storage and use within the recommended timeframe are important.
