I spent $1,000 trying to fix my son’s eczema. Then I tried tallow.
Tallo Queen didn’t start as a business.
It started as a mum trying everything to help her child.
George had perfect baby skin. I breast fed him til four. Then childcare. The pool. The city water.
Suddenly everything changed.
The itch. The redness. The sleepless nights.
Doctors every 2–3 weeks.
Bleach baths. Creams that stung.
Handouts. Antibiotics. Biopsies.
And the discord eczema. The worst kind.
I followed the advise bleach baths, steroids and antibiotics. Repeat. I washed sheets daily. I couldn’t continue I needed to find another solution.
I Wormed the whole family.
Filtered our water.
Changed detergents.
Scrubbed the house top to bottom.
Tried everything and anything.
One night, completely spent, I was putting tallow on my own face for vanity reasons and it hit me:
“This doesn’t sting. This feels simple. He needs this.”
So I made it.
I taught myself to render beef tallow the traditional way.
I stood at the stove late into the night making batch after batch.
Eventually I created blends that felt good on his skin — and didn’t burn.
